Circle Cube (2019) is a study on the interactions between arcs and orthogonal lines in space. The original three-dimensional cube (fig. 1-6) made from cardboard and wood is deconstructed onto a two-dimensional plane as a Belgian lace (fig. 7), a Lenox drawing (fig. 8), and a collage (fig. 9). The different lighting conditions created by the closures in the cube are translated into light and shadow on the flat surface.
